Rwanda’s rebirth and socio-economic journey in the post-genocide era

The African Studies Group (ASG) at the University of Melbourne has the pleasure of hosting a special face-to-face lecture by H.E. Jean De Dieu Uwihanganye, the Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to Australia.

The High Commissioner will discuss how several bold choices anchored in homegrown solutions led Rwanda to become one of the fastest-growing economies in Africa and the attractive and reliable investment destination it is today.

Come join us on Wednesday 6 April in Rm206, David Caro Building for a discussion on the place of Rwanda within the ‘Africa Rising’ narrative!
