We have POSTPONED Monday’s in-person Positionality, Power, and Participants in Research Masterclass due to the latest lockdown in Melbourne. We hope to run the Masterclass in-person later in the year and will be in touch with details as soon as alternative arrangements are confirmed. Professor Mahmood Mamdani, Columbia University, will deliver a keynote lecture on Neither Settler nor Native: The Making and Unmaking of Permanent Minorities.

Panel Days — Academic Panels on Tuesday & Wednesday; Practitioner and Community Panels Thursday & Friday. Sessions include On Development, On Belonging, On Communities and a special book discussion with Mahmood Mamdani, Sana Nakata, Hamza Bin Jehangir and Karen Farquharson. Ms Abiola Ajetomobi, the Director of Asylum Seeker Resource Centre Innovation Hub, will headline the Practitioner and Community Panels with a keynote lecture on The Role of Allyship and Advocacy in Amplifying Marginal Voices.
